Exporting textures
When you're done, export your channels to image files for your game engine or renderer. Open with File › Export Textures….
Presets
A preset decides which maps are written and how channels are packed for a target engine. CGpainter ships presets for Unity (URP and HDRP) and Unreal, among others — pick one, or customise the outputs.
Channel packing
Engines often pack several grayscale maps into one image's R/G/B/A channels (for example an ORM map = Occlusion / Roughness / Metallic). A preset's outputs define this packing.
